Veiling Rhein-Maas is expanding by 10,000 m2, renting Hall N from Landgard. This change is part of the Standort 2025 project, under which the auction is extending and adapting its site.
Hall N is currently unused at the Herongen site and will now be occupied by Veiling Rhein-Maas (VRM). Concretely, this means that Veiling Rhein-Maas will be renting this hall from its mother company Landgard, much like the other halls it uses.
By renting Hall N, Veiling Rhein-Maas achieves an expansion by 10,000 m2. The auction complex in Herongen, Germany, covers a total area of around 200,000 m2. Veiling Rhein-Maas will be using the extra space to move services. “If all goes well, our Import Processing department and our Service Center will have moved into Hall N by September next, and the vacated spaces will be rented out to customers again,” the auction’s General Managers Cees Hoekstra and Günther Esser say.
