Féerie Florale saw its second edition from 26 to 29 September. The event in Bilzen, Belgium, aims to promote florists and the profession at large. “Here, florists can show off everything else that can be done with plants and flowers.”
Visitors slowly shuffle through the rooms of Alden Biesen Castle in Bilzen. It is busy on the first day of Féerie Florale. Koen van Malderen, the Director of organiser BE-Florist, has just opened the event, and interested visitors are flocking to see the creations of florists from all over the world.
“I hope, expect and feel that this year’s fair will be busier than last year,” says Van Malderen. In 2024, 10,000 people attended the four-day event, the most famous floristry fair in Europe, according to Van Malderen. BE-Florist was pleased with the attention the event attracted at the time.
